Excel file creation won't work on IL2CPP

Hello! So, since Google Play now only lets to publish apps that have 64bit version included (that is IL2CPP), I have to change from Mono to that. The problem is, I use excel file creation plugin in my app (NPOI), which doesn't seem to work on IL2CPP. I also tried EPPlus plugin - same thing (works on Mono, doesn't on IL2CPP). I was wondering what is the source of this problem, and could it be fixed in any way? Trying to use an external library in my Android project, but managed code stripping causes an error.

Hi, I'm trying to use the [SSH.Net library][1] in my Android project, however I'm running into an error. Specifially, `MissingMethodException: Default constructor not found for type Renci.SshNet.Security.KeyExchangeDiffieHellmanGroupExchangeSha256`.

I've determined the problem is to do with 'Managed Code Stripping' in project settings, because if I switch to Mono and disable the option, the library works fine. I've read about link.xml files to disable stripping for particular code, however the contents I have at the minute do not help and the error persists: (you may be able to tell I just wrote as many random lines as I could hoping it would fix the problem)

So my question is, what would a link.xml file need to contain to stop the SSH.Net library code from being stripped? And unfortunately, I cannot use Mono as it does not offer arm64 builds.

How to fix apps containing an unsafe implementation of TrustManager

I'm using Unity 2018, and still suffering, just AdmobPlugin. Every build the DefaultWsdlHelpGenerator.aspx file appears with the x509trustmanager. I have no idea what I have to do. How can i fix that?

Please help me I've been racking my brain for days trying to build a simple Android build to meet the 64x requirements of Google play. Hello, I am building an Android app in Unity 2018.3.6 with **IL2CPP**, ARM64 and .NET 4.x. There is some code from a previous programmer which reads: IEnumerable listOfNodesThatMatch = parentXmlNodeWithChildren.Select("criteraToMatch"); When building using Mono and ARM32 this code executes fine, but on IL2CPP it throws the error: **IL2CPP encountered a managed type which it cannot convert ahead-of-time. The type uses generic or array types which are nested beyond the maximum depth which can be converted.** Based on [this page][1] of the documentation, it seems IL2CPP uses Ahead-of-time compile. [This forum post][2] also warns against using LINQ with AOT and recommends using UniLinq to avoid these errors, but based on [the github page for UniLinq][3], its now obsolete because IL2CPP should be supporting LINQ. I'm obviously not seeing it as fixed on my end so I'm reading this all as a bit of circular logic. **Is LINQ supported for IL2CPP? If not, how can I change the code presented to maintain the same functionality? Hello, I am updating Unity to 2019.2 and my app start crashing after install from google play. I find out that in sdcard>Android>data>MyApp>files> there is il2cpp directory and if I remove it game will recreate it and start fine. But again after fresh install it does not. This does not happens when I install from my machine. Any help would be appreciated!

UWP (hololens) SOAP Web Service

I have a `SOAP` web service to communicate with. In command line (`wsdl`) I've managed to generate a client code. It relies upon `System.Web` and `System.Web.Services`. So I have create a "Plugins" folder and put both *DLLs* there (took from `C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2019.3.0b2\Editor\Data\MonoBleedingEdge\lib\mono\4.7.1-api` in my case). I've tried to use the web service by calling one of the method and it all works in Editor, I'm able to get a parsed response. So I've made a Build and Deployed to the *HL1*. All good, but the app crashes when I press the button to call a web service method. This is an exception info: `"The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access."`. Could someone help me to understand the issue. Maybe we have someone who successfully implemented SOAP on Hololens? ---------- Edit: So I've found that instead of copying *DLLs* into the "Plugins" folder, you can create a file called `csc.rsp` inside the "Assets" folder and put references inside it like so: ` -r:System.Web.dll -r:System.Web.Services.dll ` And it seems to be working correctly, again, only in Editor. Good thing is that it is not crashing on Hololens now, it just does nothing, after I press the button to use the Web Service it just does nothing. Probably I need to connect the debugger and see what happens on the device. Gonna try tomorrow morning... ---------- Update: So this is an exception raised on Hololens: ` System.NotSupportedException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol::.ctor occurred ` Does it have something to do with the fact that my endpoint is `http` and not `https`?

A simple 2D unity game facing Jerks/Lags

A simple 2D game that doesn't have any high graphics and should run smoothly on mobiles but isn't working as supposed to. Everything was working fine until i had to switch scripting backend in unity player settings from Mono to IL2CPP as i had to upload it on google play store. After changing scripting backend game starts showing lags no matter on what mobile i play. Then I inserted below mentioned command in Awake method Application.targetFrameRate = 60; Before giving this command it was having lag on all android devices but now some of the devices are running this app without any lag and very smoothly but most of them are still lagging. And i am unable to figure out that what should i do now to get rid of this lag as there was no problem before changing scripting backend from mono to IL2CPP...

Exported APK very slow in my mobile when having all target architectures ON

When I export my game to apk having only ARMv7 and x86 ON (with IL2CPP scripting backend) as shown in the attachment, then the apk runs fine on my mobile. ![alt text][1] But when I upload it to Google play console it complains about not including 64 bit native code: ![alt text][2] The problem is if I check all the options (ARMv7, ARM64, x86) ON (which is what Google probably wants) then the apk is EXTREMELY slow on my mobile. I don't know why this happens. I am using Xiaomi Redmi 4A phone. How can I make sure the apk runs fine on my phone AND it has no problem with Google app store? Build for WEBGL: IL2CPP NullReferenceException in browser

I've built my game for WEBGL and when running the game in a browser an error comes up every time when a specific action takes place in my game. In the editor there is no error when the action takes place so I think this error may occur when Unity builds my game for WEBGL (Maybe??) since it has to convert code. I have the option "Strip code" in build settings off because I didn't want Unity to accidently remove a section of code that was in use. I'm in the process of making a Development build with Full stacktraces on so I can possibly get a more accurate line of code where this error is occurring. But, could the problem not be with my code and possibly with IL2CPP? What could I do to try and fix this error? Is there a way to get this error to show itself in the editor by testing WEBGL compatibility in the editor? Currently I'm working on project in Windows 10 64 bit machine and Unity Version is 2018.3.14f1. Getting the following error while building it for android. There is no error in unity editor mode. Currently I'm working on project in Windows 10 64 bit machine and Unity Version is 2018.3.14f1. Getting the following error while building it for android. There is no error in unity editor mode. Failed running Android build with il2CPP with Unity 2019.2.11f1

Hi, We are looking to update our app on the google play store with 64 bit version and for that we updated our Unity to Unity version 2019.2.11f1. Have installed the latest android SDK along with NDK version 16b and are building using the "Build App Bundle(Google Play)" checkbox. il2cpp android build error 2019.2.19f1

I am having a tough time with my Android build. The 32 bit mono apk worked, but google play requires a 64 bit version. The iOS build went fine as well. As soon as I switched to il2cpp I started having build errors. I've tried read the build log, and have searched the forums, trying lot's of solutions, but nothing seems to work. I've tried internal build as well as gradle. I'm unchecked all architectures except 64 bit. I've deleted the Library folder, deleted .sln files, deleted Temp folder. I'm on a mac and I have Admin privileges. I have the latest version of unity as well as the android sdk/ndk from unity install. If anyone could look at this log, I have no idea what to try next.
